In his second audio blog, guest blogger, Marvin Bloom, speaks about resolutions and a man of resolve that he admires. He also talks about his desire to win Long Island (aka "the Lord's Island") for Christ.
New year's resolutions are really just a good moment to look at your life and where you're going, and look forward at things you can do to make life better, not just for yourself, but also for the people you meet and live alongside (although a lot of new year's resolutios are very selfish).
I think it's a good thing to do that, and not necessarily unbiblical, I think the Christian God encourages Christians to look at their lives, at any point in the year, but also at the start, and see how they can more fully serve him and do his work.
So it's good to do that and although people who spread the gospel, as you resolve, often work on my unChristian nerves, I know that this is a religious duty for you, and I respect that. All I would ask is that you also respect those who have already heard the gospel, and chosen not to accept it in the same way you have.

Have a good year,
